The Joy in a Child’s Eyes

Have you ever seen a child’s eyes light up with joy? Not because they were given something, but they learned something new. As an educator, the sparkle in the child’s eye when they successfully complete a task is the best! That sparkle makes everything worth it. Another joy is when the child tells their parent, “I learned A LOT TODAY!” Those few words are a song to my ears.

Learning should be fun and an adventure. As an educator, it is my duty to help every child learn the joys in learning! If they don’t learn now, why would they want to explore anything tomorrow?
